Reclaim Our Place as California’s Premier Wellness Destination
Desert Hot Springs has the potential to become the Sedona of California—a nationally recognized destination for wellness, restoration, and natural beauty. By reinvesting in our distinctive mineral water, spa, and hospitality assets, we can attract more visitors, strengthen local businesses, create jobs, and generate tax revenue from beyond our resident population. That additional revenue can help support the services, infrastructure, and quality of life our community deserves.
Expand Entertainment, Retail, and Local Economic Opportunity
Residents should not have to leave Desert Hot Springs to enjoy quality shopping, dining, entertainment, and family activities. By expanding these opportunities on our side of the Coachella Valley, we can attract visitors from neighboring unincorporated communities and nearby San Bernardino County areas, including Morongo Valley and Yucca Valley. This means keeping more tax dollars circulating locally, creating opportunities for entrepreneurs, and bringing more jobs closer to home.
Continue the Strategic Vision—and Deliver Results
Desert Hot Springs must continue planning for the future while addressing the everyday needs of residents. Through disciplined, community-centered leadership, we can build on the city’s existing momentum and advance important projects such as the BLVD and downtown plans, improvements to the Pierson Boulevard and Highway 62 gateway, and the Senior Center Complex. The goal is not simply to announce projects, but to move them forward responsibly and ensure they deliver lasting benefits for the entire community.
Meet Jan Pye
Jan Pye has lived in Desert Hot Springs for over three decades, dedicating her life to serving the community she calls home. With a proven record on the City Council, she has consistently advocated for transparent governance and sustainable local development. Jan is running for District 3 to ensure every resident has a responsive voice at City Hall and to maintain the high standard of public service our district deserves.
